Wever & Ducré Tapis Soft

Wever & Ducré presents Tapis Soft, a family of wall lights combining decorative lighting and acoustic comfort. The Tapis Soft 1.0, 2.0, 3.0 and 4.0 versions integrate an LED light source directing its light onto a high-quality PET felt panel, designed to absorb part of the ambient noise and enhance the sense of calm within a space. The result is highly graphic, with a soft presence on the wall and a gentle glow that enhances volumes without glare.

Wever & Ducré Tapis Soft creates a balance between material and light. The acoustic felt panels provide a warm texture with subtle undulations. Depending on the configuration, the indirect diffusion highlights the wall and creates an enveloping atmosphere, ideal for interiors seeking both visual impact and warmth, such as a living room, hallway, staircase, bedroom or workspace, where pleasant light and improved acoustics are equally important. Several felt finishes are available, including Felt White, Felt Limestone, Felt Marble Grey and Felt Oxide Red, allowing seamless integration into your interior.

The Tapis Soft range adapts to projects of various scales. The 1.0, 2.0, 3.0 and 4.0 versions are illuminated modules, while the 2.1, 3.1 and 4.1 versions are purely acoustic elements without lighting, ideal for expanding a wall composition and reinforcing both the decorative and sound treatment effect.

Create your own luminous sculpture by combining different module shapes, formats and colors. Each light point can be powered individually, or supplied from a single electrical connection, with cabling discreetly hidden behind the acoustic light panels. Each Tapis Soft package includes a full-scale paper template to facilitate installation.

In terms of lighting, Tapis Soft is primarily designed for ambient illumination. Two light temperatures are available: 2700°K for a warm white glow, and 3000°K for a slightly more neutral tone. The overall atmosphere will vary depending on the chosen felt color and LED temperature. With Tapis Soft, Wever & Ducré offers a designer luminaire that not only illuminates a space, but also enhances acoustic well-being and the perceived quality of the environment.
