Product info

At first glance, Karman Alibaglass makes an impression with its remarkable elegance. Its slender silhouette in borosilicate glass appears to float in space, revealing the light through subtle effects of transparency, depth and reflections. More than just a pendant light, Alibaglass becomes a true decorative object, a light sculpture designed to add character to a space with refinement. Its sculptural appearance and visual lightness make it a designer light that is at once precious, contemporary and timeless, subtly influenced by Baroque inspiration.

The blown glass shade of Karman Alibaglass reveals its full richness when illuminated. Its white inner section elegantly conceals the bulb and creates a subtle contrast with the outer shell. On the coloured versions, when switched off, the glass has a deep, almost opaque appearance; when switched on, the appearance of the light is transformed, revealing its inner structure through a transparency effect similar to that of a two-way mirror. This transformation gives Alibaglass a different presence depending on whether it is illuminated or not.

The transparent version diffuses the light both sideways and downwards, providing a more open luminous presence within the room. The coloured finishes, on the other hand, provide lighting that is mainly directed downwards, while their outer surface retains a strong decorative character. The available coloured finishes are Chrome, Bronze, Green, Black and Gold Pink. The black electrical cable measures 300 cm as standard and makes it easy to adjust the height of the pendant light to suit its surroundings.

The Alibaglass collection by Karman Republic is available in three sizes that can be used individually or combined. The large XL model measures 24 cm in diameter and 65 cm in height. The Medium version measures 18 cm in diameter and 41 cm in height. More compact, the Small version measures 11 cm in diameter and 20 cm in height. The two larger models accommodate an E27 bulb, while the small pendant light is fitted with a G9 bulb holder. These different sizes offer great freedom to create either a discreet installation or a more spectacular composition.

Installed individually or in a linear composition, the Alibaglass designer pendant light elegantly complements a dining table, kitchen island, counter or even a hotel or corporate reception area. Combining several pendant lights makes it possible to create rhythm along the length of a table or space while maintaining a great sense of visual lightness.

In a round composition or suspended at different heights, mixing sizes and finishes makes it possible to create a more sculptural installation, particularly suited to stairwells, large spaces, entrance halls, restaurants and professional spaces. With its blown glass, varied proportions and instantly recognisable identity, Alibaglass by Karman combines decorative lighting, architectural presence and freedom of composition to create a light fixture that is equally captivating whether switched off or illuminated.

Choosing bulbs with warmer or cooler colour temperatures also creates different effects on the colour of the glass.
